  • Florida over Ohio State

In one of the least interesting championship games I can recall, Florida overwhelmed Ohio State 84-75.

Will Billy Donovan be interested in the Kentucky job?--

Oden was a stud, I'd love to see him play as a sophomore, and don't think an injury would even touch his NBA career possibilities, so I hope he comes back.

The only thing that bothers me, is that he should get T'd up when he does a pull up after a dunk. If it was anyone else doing that, I think they'd get T'd up.

I can see Oden choosing to stay for another shot at the final four and the championship. The Ohio State team is overall fairly young I think, and they would be pretty strong next year too.

I believe FLorida has most of its players coming back next year also, well if they don't go pro that is. If Oden is a true warrier, which it seems like he is, i'm sure he'll return for another year for a chance to demolish Florida. I believe OSU would of easily beat Florida tonight had they shot there normal average. I don't believe Florida beats OSU in a best of 3 series.

            Book this...

            Oden - Gone
            Conley - Gone
            Noah - Gone
            Horford - Gone
            Brewer - Gone
            Green - Gone
            Humphrey - Gone (Senior)

Neither team will look remotely close to this year's team.

Conley isn't even close to being NBA ready, especially at 6'1". He doesn't shoot well enough yet, and isn't big enough to get the easy finishes around the rim he gets in college.

I strongly disagree. He may be a top 10 pick this year. Right now he's projected as the 12th pick in the draft. He's ready, and he's as good as gone.

I'm not saying he's not gonna go, but he's not even close to being ready.

Also, just because you are a lottery pick doesn't mean you are ready for the league. See Patrick O'Bryant.

I see your point, but he's more ready that you give him credit for, and more ready than POB was.

I agree. He needs more time in college. I like the way he plays, but he is a poor shooter right now.

Oden on the other hand, is an animal. he could be an all-time great player if he works hard and stays healthy.
Dinma Odiakosa 6'8 255......The Nigerian Nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 37 points and 27 boards in 2 wins over Bradley. "Will Egolf is 6'9 and he had 4 rebounds. That's not good enough and he's not good enough"....Dick Versace 2/9/10

But Florida already has this year. They destroyed them in the regular season and seemed to have a pretty easy time with the Buckeyes last night. I know the first game was in Gainesville and OSU shot like garbage last night, but that's all part of the game, isn't it?

If you watched that game last night it should be obvious that Florida is better. Ohio State may have a few elite players that will be better Pros than Florida, but top-to-bottom Florida is much better.

I believe the exact opposite is true..........in a one game playoff OSU stands a chance to pull off the upset. But with UF's depth down low they were able to rotate in waves and wear OSU down. I thought Oden played the best game of his college career...........he definately elevated his game to the competition...........it was the only thing that kept them in the game. If he had played the way he did during the regular season it would have been a 20-point blow-out by Florida.

Don't misunderstand. I don't like Florida.........those players are trash talkers.......but they did back it up.
