Lance Stemler Update

Lance and his 22ppg scoring average led his Southwest Illinois College all the way to the Elite Eight of the (Division I) NJCAA playoffs.
But in their quarterfinal game last night they lost to Highland College as Lance was held to 11 pt.
Their 31 game winning streak was broken but they play in the Consolation Bracket today against Georgia Perimeter, and with 2 more wins could finish 5th place.

Yesterday, Lance's team won their semifinal Consolation game
78-70, with Lance scoring 29 points and 5 rebs.

SWIC plays Saturday for 5th place in the national tournament against whoever wins the game today between Arizona Western vs. Howard College.
A loss will mean a 6th place finish.
