Warriors are playing Phoenix on TBS right now. Wonder if POB is on the bench?

He is sitting at the far end of the bench in a beige suit.

he would have been much better off at BU....

???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???

So O'Bryant isn't dressed for the game? (In which case I'll intelligently go to bed)

I watched all the games last year and I really wasn't that impressed wit Pat. He was 7'0+ but he wasn't very strong and in most conference games he got worked. He had a good tournament so he cashed in which was the right thing for him.

I must have watched different games than you(I also watched all of them that were home or on TV or within driving distance).

I definately thought he was a huge defensive presence and allowed us to make a lot of passes and set up plays you cannot do without a dominant big man. While I agree he got drafted because of his monster play in the tourney, but he was no chump during conference play either, and had he been on the team this year we would have given SIU a run for the Valley title. However getting JFears may turn out to be a huge blessing in the coming years.

Wow, they beat my Suns even without POB. He sure looked good sitting at he end of the bench in that beige suit. He would have looked better playing on the court wearing a red and white uniform this past successful season.

Like I said before, I don't bring POB up, but when someone does I give my opinion. Isn't that what this board is about? How do you know he could buy me?

Patrick O'Bryant did set one record this season....
He is the only player who has been went to the D-League and recalled three times, so that now he cannot be sent to the D-League again this year.

"Golden State's Patrick O'Bryant is the only player who was assigned and recalled three times, and cannot return to the D-League this season."

For those who think POB should have stayed in college another year, here is an opposite opinion. This guy writes that players should sometimes go at the earliest point, because staying in school sometimes exposes your weaknesses. He uses POB and Joakim Noah as examples--

one mistake he makes, he says--
"Take Warriors center Patrick O???‚¬?„?Bryant, for example. O???‚¬?„?Bryant played just two seasons at Bradley, and in his final game had 28 points against Pitt. The performance was good enough to elevate O???‚¬?„?Bryant into the lottery."

Patrick's final game was not the 28 point performance against Pitt. It was the game in Oakland against Memphis.

Good article and great point! I totally agree with it.

Doyel at CBSportsline (who most hate, but I happen to like and agree with alot) had a similar article about Conley at Ohio St.
