  • Mock 2007 NBA draft- Jamal Tatum

This is the first mock draft list for 2007 I have seen with Jamal Tatum. This site, just updated yesterday, projects him to go 55th overall, late in the 2nd round to Milwaukee. Sites like this have been fairly accurate in predicting the top 10-15 draft picks, but after that they have been very inaccurate, especially near the end of the 2nd round. Tatum boosted his stock with his fine shooting in SIU's games in the NCAA. He will likley get invited to a couple of the predraft camps where he will get more chances to impress NBA scouts.

Won't make it. Not a good enough shooter. Whoops, that never stopped Gary Payton...

I heard somewhere that Boston was interested in Tatum, but I doubt that they will draft him. He'll probably just be invited to camp as a FA.

Maybe this is what you recall as it regards Jamaal Tatum and the Boston Celtics.

"Jamaal Tatum had turned down an opportunity to go to Boston and do a summer internship with the Celtics, and that he was going to stay on campus."

But this happened right after Jamaal's highly publicized DUI, so maybe his staying in town was not by his choice.

I don't recall that situation, but do recall someone (might have been one of the SIU fans on the other message board) saying that Boston really liked Tatum. I'm sure someone will at least take a look, but he's likely a candidate to play overseas.

            Tatum

After watching this guy play I really do think he has a shot..........if he goes to the right team.

Reminds me of Paul Pressey lite
