  • Jim Les on "Quite Frankly"

Jim Les was interviewed tonight by Steven A. Smith on ESPN2 (right after John Calipari and Jim Larranaga). Good interview. Coach Les talked about giving BU opponents everything they've got, because he knows every team they play (or had to play) was a good team. He spoke of defensive intensity, patience on offense, and making the right decisions on player rotations. He gave props to Memphis saying they were an explosive team and the key to a Bradley win would come down to how well they play defensively. He also gave props to the Valley for helping prepare the Braves for this point in the season and how every game in the conference was a dogfight, despite the lack of big budgets enjoyed by the BCS conferences. He spoke too of Bradley's basketball heritage and the great support the hoops team gets from the University and the Peoria area fans.

Just watched that too.........JL could run for office the way he interviews...........he also said the Braves player's watch games on TV and say, hey I can do that......and he promised the Braves would come with 40 hard minutes on both ends of the court.......Very Proud to be a lifetime Bradley fan!

      I saw last night.

I'm so excited. I went to BU my freshman year and worked in sports when I was there.

I wish I was in Peoria still.
