  • Kansas Goes Down

#1 seed Kansas gets whalloped by a very well coached UCLA team.
Sherron Collins was 0-6, and scored zero points, Mario Chalmers was 1-8 and had just 2 points,
and Kansas' defense couldn't stop UCLA as the Bruins shot 53.3%.

So Kansas succumbs to the "B" curse AGAIN!

Going down to the Bruins and they fail again to make the Final Four.
Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of guys.
I hope some of 'em come onto our board and discuss this, since they all left in such a
danged hurry a year ago when Bradley pummelled them and knocked them out of the NCAA.

    Thanks T.

I liked Kansas and will settle for StirFry-Crow.

      Goodbye j@ck@sses!

I don't really hate Self, but moreso their j@ck@ss fans. I can't wait to see the whining on Phog.net about having to play UCLA in San Jose. Ha!

Well, at least not all four #1 seeds are going to the Final4 this year.

The NCAA's master plan is working. They strung along KU and their big following all the way to the Elite 8, but put UCLA in a virtual home game to get to the Final Four, to ensure a west coast audience to go along with the midwest following (Ohio St) and the 2 east coast teams that will arrive tomorrow (likely Florida and either UNC or Georgetown). It's working to perfection...

Maybe the Kansas fans will grow impatient with Bill "I never make the Final Four" Self.
They will run him out of town like the Kentucky people did to Tubby Smith and
then Bill will bolt and become the head coach of Iowa - or better yet, Chicago State.

To be fair, Kansas does have some very fine players, and they are fun to watch,
but I do admit I am heavily biased againt KU because of the rhetoric we have seen so many times from their fans.

Funniest thread on the Kansas message board:

"Hey, at least we didn't lose to Niagara"

I'd love to have the opportunity to kick his a$$ twice annually.

As much as the Kansas fans suck, I would much rather see Florida and Jaokim Noah beat than Kansas. Noah and his unsportsmanlike celebrations in front of opposing team players really sent my dislike over the pot yesterday. Clapping and pounding his chest in front of opposing team players after a dunk and foul when the game is getting out of hand. Excessive clapping in the middle of the lane when the opposing team missed a free throw. Grrrrrr lol.

I don't think they've ever gotten over the Bradley game last year.
                            I know their fans haven't.

Yeah, after also assuring that fewer non-BCS teams make the tournament.
