Duke/North Carolina have 14 MCDONALD ALL -AMERICANS. Our guys eat at McDonalds!
Do Duke/North Carolina worry about their guys getting the ball?? I do not think so.
Everything is relative. Chemistry and sharing the basketball is a huge key to the offense we run. Wichita St had major chemistry problems this year, and it caused a talented group that was off to a phenomenal start to completely collapse in conference season. I don't want BU to suffer the same fate. I don't think they will, but the last time BU had the talent to play 10 deep, it took them half the season to figure out who to play. I don't want that to happen to us either.

Just because I have concerns doesn't mean I am not optimistic about the future. I think you'll find I am about as optimistic about the future of this team and program as anyone on here.

I really think that sometimes you can have too many superstars.

Wichita State had HUGE injury problems. Cousinards shooting hand. Ogirris ankles, and Brauers 2 concussions.

Their problems weren't any worse than BU missing Ruffin for 3 games, JC for a month, or Tauai playing with a broken hand. They had major chemistry problems. Mark Turgeon said it publicly more than once, including in the press conference after their loss to BU.

I SOME context I think Fears on the bench really helped BU. Had Fears been able to play right away it could have been tougher for him to buy into what JL was teaching.

Look for DR and JC to be co-capts next year and they will understand that its DR's team.

Fears and RB HAVE to be very hungry. Had BU NOT been successful this year it could have been a tough sell in year two.

With so many freshman next year I just don't forsee problems. USUALLY freshman understand they have to wait their turn.

As long as are winning there will be no problems with who gets what shots.
Basketball doesn't build character it reveals it.

There was an undercurrent of discord that developed on the Wichita State team this season after they started to fade.

Sean Ogirri insisted on wearing a pair of rare, expensive bright yellow shoes (supposedly his brother bought them for him), even though he was asked to wear the same black shoes as everyone else on the team. In addition, he insisted on standing out from the rest of his teammates further with his exaggerated picked-out afro hairdo, though he and others suggested it might have been partly responsible for his poor shooting this year. But Ogirri's brother thinks these distinctive differences will help him "market" Ogirri better.

Figures with the attitude today... it is "all about me".

'Market'....that's funny. It's kind of hard to market a benchwarmer in the MVC.

Turgeon should have left him on the bench - let see how much marketing he gets when that happens.
