I'm so tired of hearing how great Florida is. All I see is an overrated team who gets an advantage because the referees allow them to shove their way to the basket without getting any fouls called. Al Horford did this not only tonight against Butler, but against Purdue. Why isn't the guy called when he shoves his big body up against opponents and knocks them over to get a basket? And it's even worse when the calls aren't consistent and the opponent gets called for a foul when he tries to do the same thing as Horford. That's bull.

The tournament sucks this year. I'm tired of seeing games called to the advantage of the teams the NCAA wants to win. If anybody saw the Vandy game, you know what I mean. For god sakes, the guy travelled before he took the game winning shot, and then Vandy was clearly fouled on the desperation shot. No call, of course.

There is no question there was an obvious travel by the georgetown player. I understand that officials will miss some calls. But it's hard to deny that in just about every close game there have been questionable calls that have effected the outcome, and in every case, the mid-majors have gotten screwed and the favored team has benefitted. I can understand why many people think the fix is in.

I'm sorry. I just don't see the bias. Sure, the refs blew the traveling call against Georgetown (Thank God! They're my bracket pick for National Champ ) but the no call at the end of the game is typical unless it's very obvious. The refs just don't want to be the deciding factor in a game.
IMO, the majors simply rose to the occasion in the final two minutes -- KU and Florida simply raised their play another notch. Their talent is superior to the mid-majors and their players simply stepped up.
Please, enough of this mid-major whining. They simply lost their games at the end to better teams.

Originally posted by BradleyBraveAnd Billy Packer just said that it WASN'T a travel...unreal. I may be taking VromanFan's approach the rest of the tournament. I can't take it. Not only is is this a bad tournament, but now my intelligence is being insulted by a pompous @ss. Enough is enough.
