  • Nate Minnoy

This doesn't have a lot to do directly with Bradley, but most recall Nate Minnoy, who led Hales Franciscan to the state title, and who originally went to Purdue, then to juco in Michigan.

He played this past season at Schoolcraft College (junior college) in Michigan.

Nate had averaged 10.2ppg, 5.1 rpg in his freshman season at Purdue, and in the sophomore season at Schoolcraft, he led them in many stat categories with 22ppg, 10.8 rpg, 3.1 apg.

Here are a few comments from a Rivals/Jucojunction article.
"Nate Minnoy: (SO) 6-foot-4 (270) from Chicago, IL.

Nate was a 1st team All-Conference and 1st team All-Region performer this past season.

Nate averaged 22 ppg,10.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists this season.

"Nate can play at any level. He's an impossible matchup at times. Nate really has a good basketball IQ and is extremely competitive," said Brown. (head coach at Schoolcraft)

Nate took an earlier visit this season to Loyola-Illinois. This weekend he will head to
Central Michigan and then onto Western Michigan over Easter weekend."

His scoring average is 11th nationally (Division II juco)
and his rebounding is 14th in the nation.

    I personally think he'd be successful at a mid-major.......

He's a classic tweener - a guy who plays bigger than he is ala Charles Barkley (but not quite as athletic). I agree that he would excel at the mid major level.

Anyone know why he left Purdue?

Its a bit of a strange route for a guy who got playing team his freshman year in the B10...B10 to Juco to smaller school apparently...

Nate Minnoy is giving it his best effort to try to win the title of being at the most schools over your high school/college career.....
he has a little ways to go to catch up with Marcus Relphorde

however, Minnoy is leaving Central Michigan University, where he spent last season, and is transferring to NAIA Lee University in Tennessee.

Counting two different high schools, then four different colleges, Minnoy must never unpack his suitcase....
Minnoy as many will recall, was very highly touted, 1st team all state (04-05) and was said to be 6-4, 225 as a high school sophomore...then I guess everyone else caught up, and Minnoy is essentially ineffective at the college level, plus there's the weight & the ego..... ahem....
that plus now he is listed as 6-3, 270 lb!!
