Things will be tough, but don't forget we have two big guys coming that seem to be really talented, Matt is improving every game. I also think Rashad could play 4 if he had to (though I like him better at 3). I agree we NEED the big, but I think we can be succesfull without one next year, we had a pretty good season this year without any depth at 4/5 and we'll have more talented(I'm not saying better, yet) guard play next season.

Will Egolf will be the big guy we need if no BIG juco is signed....the added playing time he would get will be a blessing for the years ahead.....just a hunch

I watched the freshman for Mississippi State (Varnado) play very well against both BU and FSU, and realized his size and build (6'9", 195 lbs) would be very similar to Anthony Thompson.

Perhaps it's not out of the question for AT to be a contributor for BU next year rather than RS as some have suggested?

I don"t see anyone redshirting but you can"t expect B.U. to compete for the valley championship against a Falker, Coleman, or even Richards without a good center; that is the only thing that we lack that would put us over the top; Salley did a good job but he is a small forward and will contribute more if allowed to play his normal position

I think the staff knows what we need and they will deliver! Move over for the new Big Man on Campus Boys! I think they will wait till after the post-season banquet....that's just my guess!

I saw AT play in the TOC at the civic center this year, as im sure most of you did. I have no clue what he is listed at but he was skinny enough to make Ashley Olsen jealous. I think he would benefit from a redshirt year and some serious weight gainer.

He looked like Anthony Tolliver did as a freshman, but time (and Ronnie Wright) have a way of bulking a guy up.

Yea, we could get back to the NIT next year without a BIG...

I completely agree Mike....kind of like last year when POB waited to announce he was leaving the day after the banquet. I have always believed that we would not hear of any roster changes with the current team until sometime after the banquet. Let's hope JL and co. have good news for us in the weeks ahead.
