Saginaw On Cable TV and Up at the Half

In CA they are on FCSC. Up by 10 at the half. West doing a most of the ball handling for Saginaw. Souther and Green are just too much for the other team (at this time).

      Yes--
the game is on webcast right now--

Saginaw is ahead 36-26 over Detroit Redford.

Welcome to EZStream, the easiest and most cost-effective way available to create and present streaming audio and video!

You can even select the archived broadcast of last night's game:

Here are the stats at halftime ...
Corperryale Harris on Detroit Redford has 19 points, six rebounds.
Everyone else on the team has 7 points....

On Saginaw, West has not scored, but he has 4 assists, and has done a fine job distributing the ball.

Saginaw's Josh Southern has 8 1st half rebounds.

The game's 2nd half has started, and the score is 38-31.

        Saginaw up 41-35

By the way, Saginaw's stud, Draymond Green has now decided he will NOT honor his committment to Kentucky.
He has not signed a LOI as he is still a junior, so now his recruitment is wide open again.

Another thing the broadcasters are talking about, is that Corperryale (Manny) Harris's Detroit Redford high school is set to close after this year because of declining enrollment.
The enrollment has shrunk to 1400, and that's causing the school baord to reworks the districts.

I wonder how the people at Manual feel, they are down to 700!

          Saginaw ahead 45-36

ALSO Harris says he is still committed to Michigan.
Harris is quite a stud, too, as he is literally having to do it all himself on his team.

Saginaw HS' coach, Lou Dawkins, played in college at Tulsa for Tubby Smith.

Score now 54-38 Saginaw in control at the end of the 3rd quarter.

If Saginaw wins this game they will end their season at 25-1, and the cumulative, all time W-L record of saginaw HS going all the way back to 1903 will be
1262 wins - 597 losses - and there were 5 ties (way, way back)

This win total is way ahead of anyone else in the state history.
The team with the 2nd most wins is Benton Harbor 1211 wins.

Now an intentional foul sends Daniel West to the line, and the game is getting to be a blowout.

57-42 with 6 minutes to go...West at the line again.

The announcers are really praising Daniel West and his ballhandling and distributing, and also praising Draymond Green and Josh Southern.

                Now it's a 20 point lead!
                62-42
                about 5 minutes to play.

West gets a steal and basket, and the announcer says
"scary to realize that Daniel West and Draymond Green are going to be back next year."

West gets fouled at 4:05 remaining, West hit both, and the score goes to
                  69-46.

                        Here are a couple articles--

Draymond Green, Saginaw's other super-junior, had committed to Kentucky, but now says he may reconsider since Tubby Smith left Kentucky. Bradley was one of his other finalists.

It would be sweet, but I would say the chances of that are slim.

Indiana High School playoffs are also done now,
and Eric Gordon's team lost the title game.
Indianapolis North Central lost to East Chicago Central.
Gordon had 25, less than the 50 points he scored the last time the two teams played.
E'Twaun Moore (Purdue commit) scored 28, Angel Garcia 25 for East Chicago.
ECC finishes as State Champion at 23-3, and Gordon's team 21-5.
