This is funny.
It is becoming too common.
The PJ Star Sports Editor, Bill Liesse, writes some kind of hit-man piece, broadsides someone, then comes back a couple days later, and apologizes, and retracts it.
So after clobbering Illinois and Bruce Weber saying many of the Chicago Public League coaches dislike the guy, and that he used the "N" word, and that he had coaches walking out on a clinic, now that he actually goes to the people and asks them and gets some facts, the story is completely different.
Now he says nobody in Chicago believes Bruce Weber used the objectionable word, and the CPL coaches in general like Weber. And that the "coaches walking out on a Bruce Weber clinic" isn't true at all.
Some time ago it was the column ripping Eric Gordon and family, then a subsequent apology.
And these PJS writers accuse the public of unfair attacks on people?
