as usual, our friendly redbird fans can't help but display their lack of class.

Let's not be too quick to lump all ISU fans together. I do not think most feel this way, as is demonstrated by Danny Cooksey's post in that discussion. There will always be some animosity between the rival schools, but I think it's much less now than it was in the past.

I'd also like to add that the old joke about "can't go to school go to state" is simply an outdated concept. Illinois State academically has undergone an extreme transformation the last 6-7 years. It's now regarded as one of the best public universities in the midwest. I don't have the links handy, but I've read several sources that support this.
It's a good school as much as you claim it's a bad one. I have my BS from Illinois State and I'm proud of it.
Back to the topic at hand, I know several Redbird fans that were very much in support of BU in their NCAA and NIT appearances the last 2 years. You can't lump us all in that pot.
Carry on......Dinma Odiakosa 6'8 255......The Nigerian Nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 37 points and 27 boards in 2 wins over Bradley. "Will Egolf is 6'9 and he had 4 rebounds. That's not good enough and he's not good enough"....Dick Versace 2/9/10

Also, be comforted, I have another joke, "can't go to state, go to Southern!" Also, really, all in just good fun--- though these days I hate Southern with a fierce passion (but am rooting for them in the NCAA).
So if you see me using it, I really don't mean anything by it...

haha I'm hoping you mean flamer in the BB sense, and not so much in the figurative sense.
