No Respect

Again, here is something that shows the total lack of respect the big elite media types have of mid-majors.

Collegehoopsnet lists their top 65 prospects and also add 29 more that are on the bubble.
That's 94 names, and guess how many are mid-majors?

#20 Nick Fazeks - Nevada
#40 Trey Johnson - Jackson State
#53 Stephen Curry - Davidson
#58 Matt Bouldin - Gonzaga
#60 Jamaal Tatum - SIU
#65 AJ Graves - Butler
and then a couple of the bubble guys, including Anthony Tolliver.

No mention of Nate Funk, Randall Falker, etc.

I think it's just that Nate Funk doesn't look like a player. But I believe he is one of the best finishers offensively I've ever seen in the Valley. He has unbelievable control in getting off a makeable shot in almost all circumstances.

On the other hand, Randall Faulker is terrible. He does well against BU for some reason, and is a decent post player for this league. But in actuality he's an undersized post player who can't hit a layup or a free throw. Seriously, I was surprised to see such ugly post play from Faulker during their three games in St. Louis. I'm sure he'll improve as a senior, but he would have no position in the NBA.
