NIU to Hire Ricardo Patton

Ricardo Patton just stepped down from the head coach position at Colorado,
and will be announced tomorow as the new head coach at Northern Illinois University.


Patton has very few ties to the midwest.

One of NIU's commits has backed out of his committment and will reopen his recruiting now that Rob Judson is gone.

Mike Dinnuno was also being recruited by Northern Iowa, Central Michigan, and Western MIchigan prior to his committment.
He is presentrly a junior and had not signed a LOI.
