  • Great game today guys!

I am in the MSU pep-band. Since basketball bands don't usually travel, except to NCAA and conference tourneys, it was a very cool thing getting to see another pep band. I have nothing but good things to say about them! They sounded great, and the fans I encountered were among the nicest fans I've seen.

As far as the team, I honestly had a bad feeling about the game, especially after learning that BU is the best 3 point shooting team in the nation! I was really impressed with your team's effort, and all around class of the fan base. Congrats on a great season and good luck next year!

Welcome SD.......congrats on your W and we hope you make it all the way to New York......we are happy with our team also....we lost a lot from last year Sweet 16 team and the player's took it upon themselves to compete with who was here and they over-achieved all season long!

      Thanks, Sax.
We wish the game would have been closer. MSU has a very good team. Good luck!

Coach, this game would have been won by Bradley had it not been a difference in athletic abilities. Bradley is a solid team who has potential for some great upsets. I really enjoyed BU's fans, and I will most likely follow BU and pull for the Braves!

Again, congrats on a heck of a season!

Thanks for the compliments Sax! I'm not sure how your team missed the NCAA's, but I will definately be pulling for them to win the NIT championship. Good luck!

The reason we aren't in the NCAA is because we were a work in progress. At the midway point of the season, Jamont Gordon was averaging more turnovers than assists. He was playing out of control, and trying to do too much. Back about 12 games ago, he seemed to wake up. Slowly, he learned to let the game come to him, instead of forcing it. The last 10 games of the season, we won 7 of 10, the previous 10 games, we lost 7 of 10. This team either blows people out, or loses close ones. We didn't learn to win the close ones until late.

              MSU

MSU will be very tough next year if everyone comes back. Gordon is a pro and potential NBA all-star and Varnado will be an absolute STUD in 2 years.

We were physically overmatched against thsi team. It is easy to see how they won the SEC West, and a shame that they were left out of NCAA Tourney. MSU should win the NIT this year and I predict will be a Sweet 16 Team next year (I'm looking forward to playing them again next year ).

IMO Daniel Ruffin was the only player on our team that would have started on MSU's team. Even Will Franklin was physically overmatched. The SEC affiliation definately helps in their ability to recruit athletic players.

I was very proud of our effort not just against them, but all year long. We definately proved all of the experts wrong!

Congratulations on a fantastic season Braves -- I can't wait until next year!
