The Islanders have opened up a 13 point lead on Whiskey. TAMU-CC winning would destroy my bracket, as I picked Wisconsin to make the Final Four, but damn, that would be cool!
I went over to the Southland championship game last Sunday and was surprised by how long and tall CC is. They play a lot of players and had some good guard play. They though do not rebound well for a tall team and had a couple of forwards who liked to shoot the ball alot.
Their depth might keep this close, but I would imagine Wisky will wear them down inside especially if the 7 footer gets into any foul trouble.

TAMU up 21-5 at the under 8 timeout! What the heck is going on here???
Well WI ended up coming back for the win but you have to give CC some credit for putting up a great fight. Almost gave me a coronary on my brackets but thats the best 15/2 seeded game i've seen. Jackson St is giving FL some fight but I imagine FL will wear em down in the 2nd half.
Right on jason. The Badgers scored 67 points over the last 24 minutes ! All the non-Wisconsin fans were pulling for the Islanders, just like the neutral fans are pulling for Jackson State in New Orleans.
