Here's a columnist who suggests Bob Knight made some crucial coaching errors, then was confused about the game situation, and is getting too old to keep this up.
He calls for Knight to retire,
"...call it a career. Hand things over to your son, Pat."
By the way... as long as we are talking about teams in the NCAA where they don't belong...let's talk about these two teams...
Boston College.....given a #7 seed.......
20-11, 1-1 in their conference tourney,
they LOST 4 of their last 5 games, they got whupped at home by Duquesne (RPI 222), they were annihilated by Kansas back when Kansas wasn't even playing well, and their RPI and SOS are certainly no better than Bradley's
Texas Tech....given a #10 seed (better than Creighton)
21-12, 5th in the B-12, 9-7 in conference.
Their RPI and their SOS are both worse than Bradley's
they lost 7 of their last 13, including a 30 point blowout and a 20 pt blowout.
