yeah, it didn't seem like there was a lot there from the student section, 6, and I think 23 were mostly empty, but I think people were going for the sides more than the ends.
Thinking is the hardest work, that is why so few people do it. -Henry Ford
Yeah...I've been in college for a while now and I'm pretty sure that awesomest is not a word. -Andrew E.
So how was the turnout?? Enthusiastic crowd? It was hard to tell from the computer WMBD broadcast.

But the crowd was great, especially when it need to be. They were really loud and the student section, especially in the second, led the cheerleaders, not the other way around, it was great.
The usual crowds are announced a little larger than they really are because they include season-ticketholders who miss the game. But since this game didn't include any season-ticketholders, the 8,304 was the actual crowd, and thus was a little smaller than usually gets reported with a crowd like tonight's.

HAHAHa yeah, I stand over by the visitors bench, so I can give them a hard time. Anyway, teh cheerleaders are on the other side of the band, and my side of the students will start up a chant a little before the cheerleaders and then we make the cheerleaders switch to our chant.
But yeah, the crowd wasn't into it when we didn't have a lead, they were a non factor completely, however, once we go the lead back after the half they got REALLY loud!

Not to mention, the band got to play every opportunity the whole game. No Civic Center music other than a couple songs before the game. I'm sure that made the band members happy.
