Not sure, but you're right if it was.....what an atmoshpere for the kid to see as well as the game itself!
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

Yes, Sam M. was there. There were a couple other recruits. I didn't recognize them. One was a kid about 6'8", and the other was a 6' kid. Anyone know who they were?

I also heard some good news about recruiting.

I also saw Sam Maniscalco and I said hi.
He seemed surprised that I knew him by name, as I suppose he figures he isn't one of the BU players yet, so how would I know.

I also saw the tall, thin recruit, he looked young, possibly a high school junior or senior.
The other kid, about 6-0 looked very familiar, I will do some digging into some old recruit pix and try to find him.

There was a recruit there at the game last night. Looked like a guard. ZA told me he was from Waterloo, IA. Anyone know any more info on who this is?
People need to recognize there is a huge difference between playing hard, and playing well...

Do we really need any more guards next season as we have Ruffin,Fears, Crouch, Warren,Buycks, Maniscalco; plus Williams and Brown are no. 3 type players.

Unless this guy is earl boykins, i really dont think we need or want another undersized guard. Do we need a two year guy who is going to compete with Ruffin, JC, Warren, Fears, Sam M, for guard duty? I wouldnt mind the 6'7 wing cooley sp? or any number of big men. I would rather have two bigs then another 5'10 shooting guard.
                        Can we start winning soon?

Would you take a Will Franklin clone?
You probably were one who didn't want to waste the last 2005 scholarship on a little known 6 ft guard out of a Texas junior college, right?
I for one am pretty glad Jim Les found will and gave him that last scholarship in late 2005.
Maybe trust the head coach on this one.

As if Les knew what Franklin would become? He was his second and probably only choice. Ill credit the staff for abosuletly maximizing his potential but not for knowing what he would became. Just like I wont fry them for wasting a scholly on another player. In addtion as much as I love Franklin and all that he has done for us and I credit both him and the staff for getting every last once out of his potential, we need players with higher ceilings IMO. For example if the staff does as much with D Williams and Jeremy Fears as they did with Will, those guys could be in the NBA and have us compete for a Valley title. Our goal is to win the Valley, something we havent been in contention for in a long time. We need Jamal Tatums and Nate Funks to do it.

I do trust the staff but since I dont talk to them directly, i pose questions and opinions on the board.
                            Can we start winning soon?
