You guys think the warmer weather was causing problems on that court tonight and the ice underneath? There was easily 2 or 3 instances tonight a player could of torn out his knee or other serious injury because of a slippery floor. Course theres not much the Civic Center can do about it other than make the place freezing lol.

That was talked about quite a bit after last weekend's state tournament, and I'm sure that's what it was tonight. It looked like the guys were playing in just their socks in some instances. I remember Will had quite a slip in the backcourt on one occasion during the second half.

The Providence head coach Tim Welsh, repeatedly called them by their first name, so he seemed to know them well.
They are a crew that does a lot of SEC games.

They were (and who they generally referee based on the box scores and reports that I can find):

Anthony Jordan, who does a lot of games on the east coast, mostly SEC games.

John Goble, who is also from out east and does almost exclusively SEC games...commonly the same ones that Anthony Jordan does:

Bruce Bell, also does a lot of SEC games and other games in the southeast.

Not necessarily true.. the last time when Will slipped, it was because the CC crew missed most of the wet spot from where JC had fallen a minute earlier...
???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???

Bradley gets a really nice writeup on the MVC web site...
            The Valley is proud!

A writeup in the Sun Times

By the way, the two main articles in the Peoria Journal Star, seems like suddenly the reporters discovered a guy on Bradley named Tauai...

I'm watching the game again on my DVR & Danny Adams was really getting on the nerves of the Providence bigs with all the holding and physical play.

JJ always comes up so big in the big games. He will be missed next year.

THIS TEAM HAS SUCH A HUGE HEART - This is the first year I've watched games multiple times.

                I was told 2nd hand....

Someone from the NIT was there and said the officials were considered the best crew in the SEC.

You could find fault with any ref if you try hard enough.....my point was they called a fare game....no favorites or homers and let the bigs play ball.......sorry but the MVC refs call the game like its a High School game and let the tick/tack fouls on the bigs ruin the flow.....last night they let the bigs set up inside and play a little ball.....I liked-em! Nice crew IMO!
