I have to think of BU's postion, had POB stayed at BU this year. I imaging POB as he plays at Bakerfield farm club is probably thinking the same thing. Wish him well!!!!!!!!!!!

BU did control their destiny. Losses to Illinois, Tenn Tech and the home game against UNI did them. Each was a game that BU "lost" as opposed to the other team "winning"
The NCAA selection committee did not do Bradley wrong this year - there were other teams including Missouri State that were more deserving but also left out.
The only way to figure out how Arkansas and Stanford get in the tournament is to do massive quantities of drugs. It is really a blight on the notion of fair play that those teams got in over some much more deserving teams.
At this point, the mid-majors in the Dance need to beat some of the higher seeds and NIT teams like Bradley need to make some noise as well.
My dream is for SIU and Creighton to each make the Sweet 16 - that would be a nice statement for the league to make.

I have no qualms with what Pat did. It was what's best for him, and to some extent, Bradley. In the long term, we can say that we went to the Sweet 16 AND had a player drafted in the NBA lottery. Imagine what pull that gives Coach Les in recruiting...
And I don't even think Pat is laughing all the way to the bank. He genuinely really loved his time here at BU. Even to this day, his AIM icon is the BU logo.
We shouldn't blame Pat for our team this year and the fact we are in the NIT. Remember that time in November when we were picked to finish 8th in the conference? Yeah, I do to. Our team overachieved this year, and played some of the most exciting basketball I have ever seen. Sure, we faltered sometimes late in the game, but we're 21-12! Pat, Cellus, TB, Boogie, and Heemskerk all helped to raise the bar at Bradley and leave a legacy where we're no longer satisfied with playing a home game in the NIT.
So I thank you Pat, genuinely, and I appreciate everything you have done (and continue to do) for Bradley University...People need to recognize there is a huge difference between playing hard, and playing well...

Speaking of POB, he played for Bakersfield last night and got 14 points and 15 rebounds.
