If it was up to me I would just take the top rpi's for the at large bids.

Yeah...I've been in college for a while now and I'm pretty sure that awesomest is not a word. -Andrew E.

Well, we'll see how the Boilers and Cardinal do this year--nothing like shutting up your critics by playing well in the tournament, just like BU proved last year.
"The only beef" How about we were 5-4 against the BIG 10 and they get 6 teams and we get 2.
We did not lose to the Big East and they get at least 6 teams and we get 2.
I agree with tornado. The RPI, since we "broke the code" obviously means NADA!
First Enron-Cilco now the freaking NCAA, I am so screwed!

Yeah, I just saw that. I guess losing that extra hour of sleep gets to you!

As far as I can tell, the following of the 27 were at large and higher RPI's than BU

              Stanford
              Georgia Tech
              Texas Tech
              USC
              Purdue
              Vandy
              Virginia
???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???

                Virginia

actually because some of the RPI listings vary....it now appears that 29 teams whose RPIs are higher than BU got in.

The at-large teams in who had higher RPIs are:
                39 Old Dominion
                40 Southern California
                44 Purdue
                47 Vanderbilt
                52 Georgia Tech
                53 Texas Tech
                55 Virginia
                65 Stanford

so 7 BCS schools got in with RPIs at or higher than 40
and only 3 teams with RPI's under 40 got left out....all three were midmajors (BU, Missouri State, Air Force)
