If they are going to use any formula at all, especially if they go to all the trouble of inventing and fine tuning the RPI, then use
it to determine the top 100 teams, leave everyone else home or to the NIT, and then play 36 first round games matching the
teams from #29 through #100, then the winners of those 36 games join the remaining 28 top seeds, and those 64 teams
play for the title.
Then it's pretty scientific and there is no bubble discussion.
If a team is not in the top 100 in RPI, then they really just don't have a gripe.

Kansas 27-4, is going against Oklahoma.
KU wants to win out and gain a #1 seed.
Oklahoma is not a very good team but has made it to this game
16-14, losing 6 of their last 7.
But Oklahoma beat Kansas last month, can they do it again?
Anyone want to see KU go down?
I am looking for a first round NCAA matchup between Kansas and Bradley or as a 2nd choice, Kansas and Butler, or Kansas and BYU...or maybe even a rematch of Kansas and Bucknell.

I think we need Iowa to win, because Purdue is right on the bubble. Plus, Iowa is not going to run the table in the BTT, which they will need to do to make the NCAA tourney.
Regarding OU and KU, I hate Kansas and hope they lose. If OU wins, it won't do much for their resume', since they will also need to win their conf tourney to make the NCAA.
BTW, we need Texas Tech, Florida St., USC and Arkansas to lose today. TT and USC may already be in, but losing will only help our cause...

I have an idea. How about we deem DUKE the best team of the past and current century, award them an honorary title each year(to save the players knees from having to play a tough tourney) and then let the rest of the D-1 teams play for a title while coach K refs from a lazy boy in row 4 of the Georgia Dome.DUBL R 1

2nd of all, as a Bradley fan with a 3% chance of getting a bid to the NCAA, one would want Purdue AND Illinois to lose.Once A Brave ... Always A Brave
