  • We OWE this team...

.....our FULL support in the NIT if thats where we are headed. Most everyone on here was just hoping for staying out of Thursday and a "possible" NIT berth. Wow...a POSSIBLE berth, we didn't even think THAT was a given.

This team is on the bubble, weak as that bubble is, and came a Tatum cheap shot of tuaii of being an NCAA team. (which I still think we are)

I know its early to start beating the drum but I want the PCC sold out for the White OUT again IF thats where we end up. I know all of the fine posters on this board want it also.

So if and when it happens start beating the drum. Get the word out and lets show this team how much we appreciate what they did beyond ANYONES expectations.

11,400 or more should be the goal.

Oh yeah, I'll be in the front row of the student section if we have an NIT game, just like I am for every home game(and fortunately was for the MVC tourny last weekend). I saw Franklin today at school and wished him luck on sunday, he seemed fairly opimistic too.

Yeah...I've been in college for a while now and I'm pretty sure that awesomest is not a word. -Andrew E.

You know I am in DRU!
???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???

I will be there trying to sell tickets outside to all those folks that had to sit at the bar and watch the SIU game.......is it legal?

I hope to be there, but making a trip to the NCAA would be fun heh Tornado!

I have the NCAA dates scheduled off and I am hopeful.
No way we get 11K to an NIT game, as all those season ticket holders would all have to get out of their La-Z-boys and go pick up their NIT tickets, and it isn't likely to happen.
I think we can get 9-10K.

THATS not the attitude I want....POSITIVE thinking. We WILL get 11,400. I DEMAND it.

Tell your friends good seats available. Offer to pick up tickets for those with walkers.

Why doesn't the ticket office let season tic holders pick up AT the PCC gameday?

                          11,400...11,400...11,400....we can do it.

I'd be really disappointed if we didn't get at least 10000, and just a little disappointed if we didn't get close to 11000. I think it will depend a little on who we draw for the game. I'll be there even if we were playing St Marks grade school . I just hope the Peoria area shows up in force as this is one of the more deserving teams we've had here at Bradley. Go Braves.

According to the NIT rules and guidelines for selection/seeding:

"The regular-season champion of any NCAA Division I conference (as determined by the conference's tie-break protocol) not otherwise selected to the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship will secure an automatic qualification to the National Invitation Tournament."

The official home of the NIT Championship features tickets, college basketball news, rankings and scores.

So right now, here are the bottom seeds already in the NIT:

                              E Tenn St
                              Marist
                              Austin Peay
                              S Alabama

Potential teams to be included in the field:

Vermont (America East Conf - 3/10 Championship)
Long Beach St (Big West - 3/9 Semi's)
                              Toledo (MAC - 3/8 Quarter's)
                              Deleware St (Mid-Eastern - 3/9 Semi's)
Holy Cross (Patriot - 3/9 Championship)
                              TAMU-CC (Southland - 3/8 Quarter's)
                              Miss Valley St (SWAC - 3/9 Semi's)
