  • Bradley post season info...

PEORIA, Ill. -- As the Bradley men's basketball team waits to learn its postseason fate, the University's athletic department has begun to make plans for both the NCAA Tournament and the National Invitational Tournament. After completing their first 20-win regular-season since 1988, the Braves (21-12) were defeated in the semifinal round of last weekend's State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Tournament by regular-season league champion Southern Illinois.? Bradley remains a candidate for a repeat at-large invitation to the NCAA Tournament with a r?sum? that includes:? a 21-12 record against the nation's 19th-toughest schedule, a 3-2 record against regular-season conference champions, eight wins away from home and a fourth-place, 10-win season in the nation's sixth-ranked conference.

If the Braves host an NIT home game, there is a "white-out" planned at Carver Arena.

I know some of you think that we are red, and should wear red; however, I think a "white-out" of Carver would look top notch and very classy. Keep in mind, Michigan St. is green, but they have a "white-out" at their arena virtually every home game.
People need to recognize there is a huge difference between playing hard, and playing well...

A "black-out" would be much more ominous for the other team, in my opinion. Just think how ridiculous Carver would look if the stands were just pitch black.

Great job by Bobby Parker in putting this together. I anticipate that througout the week, this will be getting updated, hopefully for the better.

I think an empty Carver Arena and a sold out LJVM Coliseum in Winston-Salem with BU as the #13-seed would be even better

So my $1 ticket will get me my normal student section right? (assuming I am there when the doors open like normal)

I like the black-out idea...original. IF we have another home game, I'd like to see it at the Fieldhouse.

Who are we? U of L...

Plus, our AD would birth a squirrel before a black-out occurs.

Sounds like a half-time show. That would keep me out of the concession stand.

I'd love to see Bradley sport some black/red or black/white alternate jerseys. You can't go wrong with the classics, but these would rock.
