  • Could Jim Les Become the Dean of MVC Coaches?

Rumors of Altman to Iowa and Mark Turgeon &/or Barry Hinson to New Mexico or elsewhere could make Jim Les
the coach with the most seniority in the Valley if they all happen.
Either way, the fact that in less than 5 years he's got more seniority than 6 of the other MVC
coaches tells of the shaky position head coaches live in these days.

If Turgeon and Hinson both go to New Mexico, that would make for a very interesting hire by the Lobos. Two head coaches, talk about an innovative idea!
People need to recognize there is a huge difference between playing hard, and playing well...

I certainly can understand Burrah moving on as he is under appreciated at Mo St. Turgeon and Altman should learn from others and stay put. They have it made where they are and greener pastures aren't always so green. Altman has turned down "better" offers before. Hopefully both stay in the Valley. MVC MVC.
