    Had a great season.

I mean no disrespect whatsoever by pointing this out but I've never heard of a player shooting for a higher percentage over a season from the three point line than from the free throw line...although granted he didn't get a lot of opportunities from the charity stripe.

    3's- 60 of 140 .429%
    FT's- 10 of 24 .410%
And also 140 of his 158 FG attempts were 3's...wow

    Really strange.

Hopefully Danny will get a chance to raise both percentages during postseason play. It was a lot of fun watching DA and the rest of the team this year.

It was not only DA who missed his FT's ...........this team has shot poorly from the charity stripe all year long.....so I'm praying that they shoot them from today till the Sunday selection show....so when we get into post-season play this issue of missing FT's will not be the reason we lose again!

Yeah I wasn't knocking him or the team...just pointing out how unusual I think that percentage is relative to his 3 pt. accuracy.

A lot of it has to do with not ever shooting free throws in a game. He's a spot up shooter, that's his thing. I'm surprised he's shot that many free throws because when does he ever drive the ball to the basket??

But I'm sure they shoot free throws at practice...
People need to recognize there is a huge difference between playing hard, and playing well...

Yes, and most of the players probably make between 70-100% of their practice free throws. Even Zach Andrews made 7 out of every 10 he shot in practice. Game situations are completely different, and DA could not have been put in a more difficult position than he was put in Saturday. He hadn't shot the ball at all the entire game, let alone a free throw. I don't know how many players would be able to come in cold and know down free throws. It was just an unfortunate series of events, but it wasn't what cost us the game. Not even close.

Anything at games end is magnified...heck Ruf could have turned the ball over and "cost" us the game late but it doesn't mean he's T/O prone or that that was any more responsible for the loss then DA's foul.

As we have been stating...anybody that knows anything understands its a team win or loss. PERIOD.

Another thing I noticed besides the free throw troubles were an excessive amount of "easy" layups missed. Several of them on break away turnovers without any fouls committed. I know there was at least a couple games where a missed layup paved the way for a big run for the other team. With how much Les preaches discipline, I would think he would at least force the basics of layups and FT shooting. Maybe he at least tried to, who knows.

Yeah, as soon as my friends got outside one friend looked at me and he just said 'Free throws' my reply 'Layups.' We missed so many easy points because of those two things.
