  • Better for VCU to lose?

So, is it maybe better for VCU to lose? Is it possible that a win by VCU would push their RPI above ours? And push us off the bubble a bit? If VCU isn't a good bubble case and will only go if they win the tournament it seems it's better for us for GM to win since they are no threat to our RPI...

Two CAA teams will definitely get in, and maybe three if George Mason wins. VCU needs to win for BU to have any hope.

VCU win pushes their RPI into the Top 50 which helps BU.

the way i see it is if VCU looses, then its another at large bid that could be given to Bradley. If VCU wins I dont think GM will get an at large bid. So just one more bid that could go to Bradley. Whatever............ we'll see what happens!

VCU to win... bumps the BU RPI and gives another top 50 win
???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???

                VCU wins.

Mainerd (sp?) scored like 9 straight and took over.

                  Great News

Now, we need more conference champions to take care of business in their tournaments to keep these bubble teams from auto berths.

                  I still think we dance

Thank you Rams!! At least that's another NCAA team Bradley can say they beat this year, and it could help the Braves--but, who knows for sure. Now on Tuesday, I think we have to pull for Butler. A Wright State win helps our RPI, but the dilemma of a Raider win over the Bulldogs cancels out an at-large bid for somebody, and while the odds are still slim, it could be us!

I wish I had your optimism, B4L. We still need a lot of things to go right for us to get in, IMO.

All right! The Braves are now 2-8 against the RPI Top 50!

I'm definately now rooting for Gonzaga to take care of business tonight. They are up 44-37 at the under 16 minute timeout. Looking good so far.

Butler has to take care of business tomorrow night since there is no chance Wright St will receive an at-large bid. Butler is already a lock.

I'm with you B4L. The Braves aren't out of the running until that 65th team is revealed Sunday afternoon!

                            It's a double-edge sword....

Butler winning pus Wright St likely OUT.

Wright St winning puts Butler in with an At-Large that squeezes all the Bubble teams....

                            BUT...

When it comes down to it, the Committee will look at teams left on the Bubble and their record against teams already in the Tourney.

                            eeesshhhh!!!

                            I say - GO BULLDOGS!

George Mason is just hoping they make the NIT with a record of 18-15...
