Here is a complete list of teams with low RPI that were left out of the NCAA tournament since the RPI was created
2006:
#21 - Missouri State, #30 - Hofstra, #39 - Creighton, #40 - Cincinnati, #43 - St. Joseph's, #47 - Michigan
2005:
#43 - Miami-Ohio, #45 - Wichita State, #46 - Buffalo
2004:
#38 - LSU, #43 - Utah State, #48 - Georgia

So 11 teams failed to make it with an RPI under 40 since 1994, and 3 of them (Missouri State, Hofstra, and Creighton) were last year. But 29 more teams from 40 - 48 missed out in that time.
Bradley's current RPI is 36.
Prior to last year, there had only been 4 teams ever excluded from an at-large bid with an RPI of 36 or lower!- #33 Oklahoma in 1994, #36 Virginia Tech in 1995, #35 Wake in 1998, and #34 Missouri State in 2000. Then last year, Missouri State at #21 blew that old record out of the water. So most years, #36 would be good enough to get into the NCAA. Let's hope it works this year!

There is still a chance for a melt-down by a lot of teams on the bubble so for the mean-time.......lets get into the feildhouse and shoot some FT's!
