  • Why Taui? THAT'S WHY!

J.J. scores 16 and comes up with big baskets with the game on the line. He's a hard-nosed, physical defender and although he doesn't lead the team in scoring, he comes up with baskets when we need him to.

i'll admit it- jj won it BUT we still could have easily won if the refs were decent- anyway great time for jj to break out the career numbers

Those weren't career numbers for JJ...

He is such a solid player, may not always have the gaudiest stats, but he will do whatever it takes to help his team win. Tonight that meant he put us on his back and carried us to victory. I'm proud he's our captain, he's definitely earned it.

Yeah, anyone who still is gonna hate on JJ is just gonna look like fool. He came to play, stepped up, and took the team on his back, and that's why he's a team captain. Oh Will had a decent shot too.

JJ was fantastic today. His play reminded me of the win at N. Iowa last year, when they tried not guarding him at the perimeter and he made them pay by hitting 3 3's, but today he was even more clutch.

J.J. may not be the leading scorer but he does whatever it takes to win and he has been guarding players 4 to 6 inches taller which takes a lot out of him; he is a captain because his teamates know he is a true leader; congratulations to him on a great game today and a great career at Bradley.

I'm hoping his career extends another few weeks!

Didn't JJ step it up last year in the post season? I seem to remember hearing his name a lot, if not for big numbers, but for the little things.

Don't forget JJ was a trmendous scorer in high school. It took a lot for a young kid to go from star to a team player. Congrats on a great careet JJ. You'll always be a BU star.
