OK, wasn't sure where to post this:

What's the weather and traffic like in St. Lou? I'm driving down in the morning and want to allow plenty of time.

Also, any news on player sendoffs, pregame parties, etc?

The weather in St. Louis is great. It's clear, and the sun was out all day. It was cool, around 50, but that's better than Peoria. It's predicted to be a little cooler tomorrow, mid to high 40's, but no rain is predicted. There is a stron wind, and I would caution you that there are gusts that could affect the drive down. But the weather should not be a problem other wise.

There is a pregame party just announced. See the separate thread.

The Weather Channel and weather.com provide a national and local weather forecast for cities, as well as weather radar, report and hurricane coverage

Put St Louis into the "Localweather" box.

Incredible finish by the Braves today. Tauai really stepped up when it mattered, and Adams hit a couple of big threes to help BU maintain their lead. Crouch had a quiet but solid day, and Ruffin was rendered ineffective thanks to foul trouble (the charging call for his third foul was bogus, the 4th foul on the double-T with McKowen I could live with if the ref wants to keep things from getting out of hand, and that second foul at midcourt against Ahehbegle(sp.) looked like an OK call in real time on TV but in slow motion replay it was totally missed by the ref). Andrews and Salley scored zilch and we still won the game! Will's game winning shot was truly shocking considering he had some great looks in the second half and clanked just about every one of them! Had Bradley lost, Franklin's poor second half shooting would have been one of the keys, just like Ruffin's missed layup to end the first half and Crouch's foul of Josten on a made 3-point shot! Thankfully, no finger pointing allowed--just a sigh of relief and belief that we can play with SIU Saturday and help our cause for an at-large berth to the NCAA Tourney. I'm still in the camp that says we have to win the MVC Tourney rather than just make the title game. There are so many bubble teams that have meaningful games coming up next week--why take a chance on a nerve racking week like that when you can take care of business yourself, eh? Charge On, Charge On Bradley....

I am in the camp as well - and have been there for a while.

ST. LOUIS (AP) -Will Franklin hit an off-balance 3-pointer with 2.7 seconds left to lift Bradley to a 51-48 victory over Northern Iowa on Friday in the quarterfinals of the Missouri Valley Conference tournament. Franklin held for the final shot before driving toward the basket and almost turned the ball over. He regained control and took taking an awkward fall-away shot with Jared Josten closely guarding him for his second 3-pointer of the game. Bradley (21-11) plays No. 11 Southern Illinois on Saturday in the semifinals. Southern Illinois, the top seed, split with the Braves during the regular season with each teams winning at home. J.J. Tauai scored 16 and Franklin added 12 for Bradley, which lost twice to Northern Iowa in the regular season. Jeremy Crouch gave the Braves a 38-29 lead with 11:15 left before Northern Iowa (18-13) chipped away. Grant Stout, who had game-highs of 19 points and nine rebounds, gave the Panthers their first lead at 48-46 on a 3-pointer from the top of the key with just over two minutes left. Tauai tied the game about a minute later, scoring on a put-back after Eric Coleman blocked Tauai's first attempt. The Braves jumped out to an 18-4 lead in the first nine minutes of the game before enduring a six-minute scoring drought. The Panthers scored 12 unanswered points in that span and pulled to within 18-16 on Stout's 3-pointer with 5:38 left before halftime. Tauai answered 19 seconds later with a 3-pointer from the right corner and Bradley went on a 10-5 spurt to take a 28-21 lead at the break.

Awesome. I've got to see if I can catch it this morning. I don't live in the area and didn't get a chance to see on tv.
