with all the standout players BU has had over the years I am wondering if any of them ahve sons that are getting close to college age that might be on the BU radar. I am thinking of guys like Mitchell Anderson, Donald Powell, Thirdkill, McMath, Reese, Les , ...mainly guys from the late 70's to late 80's..Just curious

    Justaguy...you gotta be kidding?

Have you not been reading the great stuff on BradleyFans that you just can't find anywhere else?

First, lots of stuff on the board covers Sam Maniscalco, the son of Carl Maniscalco who played for Dick Versace.

    Here are some threads on...
    Hersey Hawkins' sons

    Mitchell Anderson's son

Jim Les' only son, Tyler, has also been discussed. He is a freshman at Peoria Notre Dame.
Do you know how to use the search feature on BradleyFans?

Just click on Search across the top navigation bar, then enter either a single word in the space, or if you add two words like "Tyler Les", then click the line just below to cause the search to select only those posts that include both words.

I bet that if Thridkill had a son he would tell him not to go to Bradley. He has distanced himself from BU ever since he left.

Thirdkill reminds me of the '81 season between the '80 worst-to-frist team that played in the NCAA tourney and the '82 team that won the NIT. Thirdkill/Anderson were the stars of all three teams. Anyhow in '81, iirc Thirdkill did not dress for the opening MVC tourney game, and in fact was kicked off the team for the rest of the season which amounted only to that one game. I worked for the Scout then (perhaps giving away my identity ) and try as I might could not find out why. I do remember having to come up with a headline that fit in a narrow column and settled on "Thirdkill Ousted".

              Hersey's Sons

I know for a fact that they are not considering BU. Said they do not want their boys to have the pressures of having to live up to their father's playing history at BU.
