Matt Roth's Washington Panthers won their first regional game vs. Canton
and really blew them out of the gym, 69-39.

Matt Roth was the leading scorer with 19 mostly on 3-pointers.
Washington is quite a team and the kids all seem to really have a great time playing together, and are like a family.
That leads to unselfishness and nice passing to help teammates score.
They win games the old fashioned way, by beating you with fine defense plus good passing and good shooting.

Note to PJ Star reporter Don Baker...
The center for the Washington Panthers who you repeatedly referred to as "Scott Jackson" is actually Jackson Scott.

The way ISU just finished their season should make any recruit wonder if Porter will even be there after next season; also would you rather play in front of 10000 fans or 4000 .

My old school, the Farmington Farmers advanced to the Sweet 16 last night with a big win over Abingdon. The Farmers are 27-1 and ranked #3 in the state. They advance to the supersectional to play Monticello in Macomb. Go Farmers!
