  • Super Young Men - and they can play basketball too

This class of Seniors has my admiration to a man. I'm proud to be a fellow alum. It's easy to get caught up in the W's and L's and lose track of the human element. This Bradley program is graduating young men that the BU Nation can be proud to be associated with - on and off the basketball court.

I'd like to say, "Thank you" to the Coaches and Administrators for their commitment to a program of all-around excellence And more importantly, a huge "thank you" to the players and their families for deciding to be part of the Bradley family.

Now go out a win the MVC tournament

I could not agree more with you. I am not sure if you got to read the clip in the PJS about Zack but it almost restored my faith in the NCAA that they would help his Mom get out for the game last night. What a great story. I will miss this group but they will never be forgotten.

Count me among the boosters who are proud to follow, and support Bradley because they have always produced great young men who we can be proud of. It's a big part of the tradition of Bradley basketball.

        Here's the story

Great great story. It does restore your faith. Dogsrus and I talked briefly with Zach's mom at halftime, but we didn't know the story then. Too bad as she deserved our thanks. Great story, great lady. Be proud Zach!

Yeah she may be all nice and stuff but when I asked her how she was enjoying the weather...well lets just say she WASN'T very complimentary.

I agree...you just can't say it loud enough...
and especially in this era of cocky, A.I.-ego types in college who pull the kids of stunts with drugs, booze, and criminal behavior that fill this board on a daily basis.
We truly have as fine a bunch of young men and athletes as any school in the nation.
(plus once you know the inside stories you realize several went through considerable hardships that many of us never know like injuries, poverty, family difficulties, and the unfairness from the NCAA as in DRuff and Will's cases)
And it's a testament not just to the kids and their families, but to the coaching staff, and the folks in the Athletic Department.
Thanks to all you guys and ladies for the great results and the fun season.
              Let's keep it going!

JL on the postgame show said he had told Zach it was always 75 and sunny here. I think you can safely call that a "snow job".

Zach really is a great guy. after practice last tuesday he came by and got auctioned off in a Hall Council event and raised a hundred dollars for us. He stayed and talked to everyone for about 45 minutes, he really is a nice guy.

The first time I saw Zach was last year outside the food court at Williams Hall. He was about to walk in and held the door open for about five or six people as they came out. He just smiled and said "How you doing?" Just one of the nicest guys you'll ever come across. Always smiling and saying hello. I'll miss him on the court and on campus.
