Here is a great story about "Iowa's First Family of Basketball", the Korvers.
They have done a great job raising 4 boys. Kyle is in his 4th season in the NBA with the Philadelphia 76er, Klayton is a junior at Drake, Kaleb is a senior in high school and is committed to Creighton, and the youngest, Kirk, is a sophomore at Pella high school.

Some articles about other MVC teams and coaches--
Porter Moser--
Dana Altman - there are rumblings that this might be Dana Altman's last year at Creighton--
Tom Davis- there are rumors that Coach Tom Davis could step down after this season. He has said he will leave when "it stops being fun" or "the program has clearly turned a corner."
Drake just secured it's first winning season in 20 years, so maybe he will consider that as "turning the corner".--
Missouri State- They are in a position where they feel they need to play their way back into the NCAA and Barry Hinson is again feeling pressure--
Wichita State's season has been a major disappointment. Mark Turgeon has been on every list of up-and-coming coaches for the past few years, but not this year--
Senior day at UNI--
Evansville finishes another disappointing season at SIU--

Only Jim Les and Chris Lowery remain in the running, and I know who I'd vote for.

But Lowery puts the guys on the floor that Weber recruited and lets them play the way Weber recruited them to play.
He didn't have to make huge coaching changes and his team finished basically where they were picked to finish in the preseason.
I know Lowery did a good job and won't be surprised if he wins the award, but I feel JL did a far better job of coaching.
Go back and look at all the preseason previews that I posted about last October....almost every one picked SIU to win the Valley and most had SIU predicted as a TOP-20 team!
They have finished just about where they were predicted, while BU has far exceeded expectations largely due to the coaching.
