I heard an Illini fan say that Jamar's suspension was for the rest of the regular season.
That Jamar's presence on the bench at the Michigan game indicates he is still part of the team,
and when Illinois starts playing tourny games, that Smith will be reactivated.
Weber can use the age-old alibi that it isn't fair to suspend the kid until
"the legal issues play themselves out",
and of course when it's do or die in the tourney you never know when you might
need on extra player as he did and pulled Jamar off the bench in the Bradley game.
Anyone else heard anything?
