Fox midwest on Direct TV?

I will be stuck working next Friday and will have to sneak off to watch us, does anyone know the channel on Direct TV for Fox Sports Midwest?

Fox Midwest is 647 on DirecTV. Comcast Chicago is 640. I believe both have the games on Friday....

Directv Channel 647 in Peoria. (I think their channels are the same everywhere)

I have direct TV, but don't you have to subscribe to a sports package to get FSM?

I think the basic DirecTV package includes the local sports channel. For most of the country, they get the affiliated Fox Sports channel.

However, Chicago-area gets Comcast instead of Fox Sports. Because the Bulls/Blackhawks/etc etc signed onto Comcast for their games instead of FSM. Therefore, here in Peoria, we get Comcast instead of a FSM affiliate.

Therefore you can't get Fox Sports Midwest with DirecTV unless you get the sports package.

Comcast Chicago appears to be "shelving" the MVC quarterfinals in favor of Blackhawks Hockey, 'The Best Damn Sport Show Period' and the women's Big Ten tournament. Nothing even will be shown on tape delay.

I may have to upgrade to Direct TV sportspack to get Fox Sports Midwest. Or maybe not since the MVC semifinals will be shown live on Saturday.
