Prior BU Recruit Chooses St. Louis U.

Marcus Relphorde
He was mentioned a couple times and ther was one time interest in BU, but after playing 2005-2006 at Chicago Boys to Men, Marcus went out east to prep school, and has now committed to St. Louis Univ.
In his 5 year high school career, Relphorde played for FIVE different high schools....Homewood-Flossmar, then transferred to a school in Kentucky, then came back to Chicago Hales Franciscan, then Boys to Men, and is now finishing up at American Christian Academy in Philadelphia (one of the schools on the NCAA watch list.)


Another player BU had on the radar screen but who has committed and signed with Northern Iowa, Lucas O'Rear, is the subject of a new interview on illinoishsbasketball.com.
O'Rear plays for undefeated and #1 ranked Nashville (IL).

If I were a coach, that would throw up a red flag for me. FIVE high schools? To me, that implies that this kid has some discipline problems, or can't get along with the coaching staff. Also, academics probably aren't too high on his list of priorities.
