Going into Saturday's MVC season finale games, lots of seeds are up in the air. BU can't crack into the top 3 seeds, and a win against IndSt locks up #4. So lets just count on that. If BU wins along with both WSU and UNI win, WSU has the tie breaker for #5.
But in the event we repeat Tuesday's performance and BU loses, it looks like there could be a jumble at 9-9. A UNI win over ISU gives UNI the tie breaker over BU. Also, a WSU win over Creighton puts us into a league tie breaker for the 5/6 seed (http://www.mvc-sports.com/ViewArticl...01&SPSID=41239). If both UNI & WSU win with a BU loss, I'm not sure exactly what the tiebreaker does.
I doubt both UNI and WSU win so it looks like we end up in the 4/5 game against one of those two teams.
After all the games are played and the dust settles, who do we stand a better chance of beating to get to SIU in the quarterfinals--UNI or WSU?
