Not saying it wasnt...all I am saying is easy to look at the speck in your brothers eye when you have a plank in your own eye. Every program has its faults. I am not going to get into a battle of programs, I am a BU fan...but we arent without sin

I agree. However, I think we have done a much better job of keeping our kids out of trouble, and disciplining them when they do break rules than some other places have.

Are you suggesting we've had players arrested recently?
Have we had kids in bar brawls, drunken driving, arrested for criminal offenses?
of course nobody's sinless but over the past 3 years BU's program has been pretty clean and the only blemish you can name never involved the police or an arrest.

Wonder what BU would have done with RB had it been a BU problem and not an NCAA.

To ME its the biggest hypocrasy(sp) out there. Smoke some weed you're a druggie, DUI's a socially understandable offense becuase most of those setting the rules drink. We"ll punish you but at least you're not doing drugs.

What would have happened had RB had alcohol in his system....do they even look for it. I realize he would have had to be drinking in the locker room at halftime but hey I used to work with a guy drinking straight vodka out of a paper bag during lunch.

How many white collar workers do martinis for lunch?

I am saying that when we've had disciplinary problems in the past, we have dealt with them the right way. Jim has sat players out before for violating team rules, and he did again last night. The last player run-in with the law I can think of was when Jabbar Battle hit his girlfriend and was arrested, and that was dealt with appropriately IMO. That was a while ago, which again supports my claim that we've done a good job keeping our kids out of trouble.

                  I agree completely, BB
BU has not coddled and pampered thugs and criminals just to get a few wins in the book.
