If SIU wins the MVC tourney, it's possible that the MVC gets only 1 bid, but not probable. It's possilbe that I'll win the Texas lotto in tonight's drawing, but not probable.
MSU has the resume to make the big dance. The Winthrop loss is minimized because people now realize just how good Winthrop is.

I can't believe what I'm reading here! I can't believe that everyone is saying we are a one bid league if SIU wins the Valley tourney! Anything less than three bids would be a complete travesty of justice since I cannot recall the last time that the number 6 or number 7 conference earned less than three bids.
While Bradley will most likely not be one of them unless they win the tourney outright, the three teams sitting ahead of them all have the resume to get in, irregardless of recent setbacks. Duke can lose four in a row, and no one blinks, but Creighton and Missouri St lose two in a row, and all heck breaks lose! I for one am not buying it!
Book it! The Valley WILL get at least three bids into the NCAA Tournament, no matter what happens in St. Louis!

I agree. The Valley is NOT the only league that is jumbled. You do not have to look any further than The Big 10. two teams at the top, then a whole bunch of .500 teams.
Take last night Yea Bradley loses to N. Iowa, but #1 or #2 Wisconsin falls to an average MSU and #23 West Virginia falls to a pretty ordinary if not bad Providence team.
Bad loses are not only happening in The Valley.
Selection Sunday is going to be pretty interesting.
The Valley gets 3 in.

1) i really cant see SIU winning the tourny, that 1 automatic bid for another team
2) SIU gets an at large
3) MSU, CU, BU, WSU compete for the other spot
3 bids, book itRetire #14

As much as I am the eternal optimist i think the our chance for an at-large dissappeared with the UNI loss, I really think we need to win the tourney to get in to the NCAA's. However I do think CU still has a good at large chance, but for the MoVal to get 3 bids I think someone other than CU or SIU must get the auto-bid, not based on the strength of the MoVal, but because we all beat each other up, and I do believe teams get bids above conferences, at least when your not the ACC or Big East.
