Indiana State lead much of the game but stopped playing with about 10 minutes left in the game and allowed SIU to come back and win the game.
    SIU 58
    InSU 50

It's hard to believe, but Indiana State is the only team in the MVC that averages fewer points on offense than SIU. In fact, it's not even close.

No wonder Indiana State has found their rightful place at the bottom of the MVC. They are the worst shooting team in the league, and Royce has too many bad shooters on the floor at any given time. Yet it seems the guys with the worst shooting percentages keep taking the most shots. Holmstrom and Moore (4-20 between the 2 tonight) have the worst FG percentage of any of their regulars, but they lead the team in shots taken per game.

Well, SIU continues their quest for a top 5 seed, and a good shot at a Sweet Sixteen appearance (or beyond). Drake keeps their slim NIT hopes alive (didn't think they would be this far above .500 this late in the season).

And most importantly, Indiana St shows us why Bradley should hopefully have no problems disposing of them on Saturday night!

Actually Indiana State looked pretty decent for 30 minutes, holding SIU to only six 1st half baskets and only 35 total points until 9:43 remaining.
Then the Sycs just died and then went 8 minutes scoring only 4 points.
As good as freshman Marico Stinson is for Indiana State (he had 17 pts on 5-8 and 6-6 from the line in just 19 minutes), nobody else on the team can score!
Their other freshman Holmstrom launches gobs of horrible shots, and yet he starts and plays 36 minutes.
