The Mannheim Steamroller concert is in the theater, not the arena.

I stand corrected, you are right. Wouldn't you think they'd still try avoiding having two big events at the same time? I know it has been done before but I'd guess they wouldn't want to do that by choice if they had an open date the next night.

I respectfully disagree with this suggestion. As is seen by what Kirk Wessler wrote for today's paper, the bubble has burst. That just is simply a fact. Hey, I love this team and I'm amazed at the job Jim Les and Co. has done to take a team who was supposed to be less than mediocre this year and take them into the consideration for an NCAA bid.

But we need to be realistic here and look ahead for the "likely" scenario that we make the NIT. I'll be rooting as hard as anyone that we can win the Valley tournament. Anything is possible with this team, including going the distance as well as losing their first game against probably Wichita State.

I think that my point in bringing up the NIT information was not to dog on the men in red and white but moreso to allow people to look ahead. Frankly, I had no idea what days the NIT were going to be and I figured it would be a good idea for people (especially those who might come from out of town, like me) to know when these additional home games would be.
      Go Braves!

From D Reynolds article this morning:

"NIT dates: Should an NCAA berth not be forthcoming, Bradley has submitted bids for home games in the first three rounds of the NIT - Wednesday, March 14 for the first round; Monday, March 19 for the second round and Thursday, March 22 for the third round."

I hope so much I don't have to watch Bradley play at home again this year. But if they do It'll be great to see us get some good home wins!

I think we can win 3 in St Louis.

When a perimeter shooting team gets hot, they are almost unstoppable. And when they get hot, they stay hot until there is a layoff. With games being 3 days in a row, I think if we are hot - we stay hot for 3 days.
although usually the games in st. louis arent very high scoring. wasnt it last year where just a couple teams scored over 20 in the first halves of the first round. just seems like everyone plays tight (especially the first game) and shots dont fall like they normally do

And don't forget... there is a 'Bad Rim' down there on one end.

This is why it is I think very important we make UNI play 94 feet. We must get lay ups and make their big men move up and down the court.

If they get this into a half court possession type game, they will really hurt us rebounding the ball and letting their bigs pass out of the post.

I do not beleive that their guards can handle our pressure either in the half or full court.
