Now that home games are determined by seed, but the dates are already determined, do you think if BU was the higher seed, but had a problem with the Civic Center being booked, they would ever consider playing at Robertson. Just hopin for a final send off somehow.

IF Bradley gets a home game, it will be Weds. March 13th. Mannheim Steamroller is booked for the 12th....

Here is an NIT site that projects the seeds. They have had Bradley as a 2 seed for several weeks.

If people would be looking ahead, if BU could get two home games in the NIT, it'd be interesting when it would be played. The IHSA AA boys basketball tourney is that weekend, so I'm guessing if we had another home game it'd be pushed to Monday.

Been a while since we won it - maybe we are due.

And if I remember correctly, doesn't Bradley rank 2nd for # of NIT wins?

Yes, Bradley has won the NIT 4 times. St. John's, the hometown school that has gotten twice as many invite to the NIT as any other school, has won it 5 times.

I would like to ask that we table this NIT discussion.

This Bradley team still has aspirations of playing in the NCAA, and as fans, I don't think we should be settling for anything less, either.

I believe this team can beat any team in the conference on a neutral floor in St. Louis. And we have the best conditioned kids, which means a lot when you play 3 games in 3 days.

Lets win Saturday, and get ready to support these guys in St Louis. If that doesn't lead to an NCAA slot, then I'll be the first to start the NIT discussion again.

                        Oh - I agree DC.

I think we can win 3 in St Louis.

When a perimeter shooting team gets hot, they are almost unstoppable. And when they get hot, they stay hot until there is a layoff. With games being 3 days in a row, I think if we are hot - we stay hot for 3 days.

I am not trying to squash anyone's fun. If posters really want to talk NIT, I am not going to stop it. And I understand the frustration of losing tonight. I know they players were devastated. They believe they are better than UNI and should have won. That's the way it should be (though UNI does have some pretty good talent). I just think it's a little early to start the NIT talk.
But I think Bradley's chances of winning the MVC tournament are close to those of any other school. The at-large chances are not good. But let's focus on Saturday's game, and the games next week.

I agree Fetz, you know it's been a good season when we're disappointed that we'll be going to the NIT with the preseason expectations everyone had.
