kuddos to the USA Today for recognizing JL should be the coach of the year. I for one think its a no brainer as I stated in an earlier post. What he has done with what we had back is remarkable at best.I just hope the coaches don't vote on it and the media does. I asked that question in an earlier post also and did not get an answer. Does anyone know who votes on COY. If its the coaches we will see if the dislike for Jim is still there among them. If the rest of the league coaches have any class JL will be the COY if they in fact do the voting
Wow, the USA today having decent coverage of the 'small market MVC'? Good for them! IMO if we win our last two games, especially if we can tie for third, there shouldn'y be any doubt.

Wily, I got this from the press release from last year's COY:
"Wichita State's Mark Turgeon has been named the Missouri Valley Conference's Rawlings Coach of the Year by a vote of the league???‚¬?„?s coaches and media."
The votes for the All Valley teams and COY are cast by 40 different people.
They include from each team in the Valley, the head coach, the AD, the radio play by play guy, and the local news beat writer.
They cannot vote for their own guy except in the instance of COY.
