  • Newest Rankings This Week..Bradley makes the cut!

You can tell these guys think a bunch of the BCS teams and don't think much of the mid-majors.
SIU only creeps up a couple spots to #14, barely ahead of Butler #15.
Florida loses to a team not in the Top 20 and doesn't even budge from #1!

    Creighton at #41,
    BUT--- note Bradley at #52

But amazingly, Illinois scores only 48 in a weak home win over 2-10 Northwestern and is still mentioned at #55!

Since we beat VCU at VCU, shouldn't we be ahead of them? Also, BU played a much harder schedule than they did.

Given BU's 31 RPI and 18 SOS, they should be ranked well into the low 40's, maybe high 30's at least but as most have said, the mid majors just don't get the respect.

The NCAA has their own RPI site, so now all the other sites are less important:

              Bradley is #29

Bradley also made a BIG jump in the Mid-major Top 25, all the way
up to #19, but surprisingly VCU is at #8.
Even Wright State that we decimated is at #14, I think BU is getting no respect here.

I would agree BU is not getting respect in some mid major polls, but as far a an at large bid I really don't think those polls matter. I believe (maybe naively) that the NCAA selection commitee is wise enough to look and see that we have a better resume than those schools, and that they aren't going to get on the internet and say 'Hey this teams ranked #8 by these folks we should put them in over Bradley.' I think we have made our point and if we win 4 more I don't think we can possibly be left out, so at least IMO, we control our own destiny.

But yeah, FORGET THOSE MIDMAJOR TOP 25 FOLKS!!!! Haha

No way we should be behind those guys in the Mid Major top 25.

The new CHN rankings still have Bradley at #53 despite the loss last week to UNI.

VCU is at #47, Creighton at #40, and SIU at #13.

Yeah, they have BU right behind Gonzaga - not too shabby. Time for BU to make some noise in StL. Even if it's by the skin of their teeth, an NCAA bid this year would be truly amazing. If BU wins two at Arch Madness I'll bet they are one of the teams that CBS has cameras on for Selection Sunday.

If Bradley beats N. Iowa and Siu they will be in the ncaa tour.period; their rpi would jump with a win over siu ; the valley would probably get more bids if Siu loses to Bradley and Creighton loses to Missouri St. putting B.U. against Missouri St. in the finals; probably the only way they get 4 bids.
