This is getting ugly. Aces also down by 4 in first half, against Samford???????????????
After leading by 7 at the half, Sycs scored 3 points in first 11 minutes of second half.

Seth Davis of SI claimed that Bradley was OUT in his rundown of the bubble teams. of course if the Braves win tonite, then i'd say we still have a shot!

Make that 0 for 3 for the Valley so far today. Possibly will be 0 for 4 if Evansville doesn't kick it in gear. Maybe a better 2nd half today will even the Valley deficit a little. Hate to see what our conference will drop to today if we only get 1 or 2 wins.

Thanks for adding those links DC!

The only thing I can really see for the Valley collapse so far is if BU can win on the road it will make us look exponentially better in the eyes of the public who haven't seen the Valley all season long. A win absolutely should catapult us into the third team from the Valley who COULD make the tourney...

The MVC has dropped well below the 6th place team now, and is in danger of dropping to 7th. This could be a disastrous weekend.

Did anyone else watch the end of the first half of the SIU-Butler game? SIU's Jamaal Tatum made a 3 point shot with just a couple seconds left, then Butler called time-out with 0.4 seconds on the clock. After the time-out, Butler inbounded the ball, and the Butler player took 2 dribbles and launched a 3/4 court shot, and the clock didn't start until the ball was already in the air! A little hometown clock management! Even the announcers commented on how can a player catch, turn, dribble twice, and shoot in under 0.4 seconds. The shot was way off, but Chris Lowery was a little upset.

Eville gives us our first win. Then their RPI drops because of Samfords low RPI!
Salukis: FINALLY an MVC team that looks like they know how to play this game. Up By 5 at 1/2.

Evansville got a road win, and SIU is winning at halftime. The MVC can still save itself with wins by SIU, CU, and BU. If UNI pulls the miracle, we'll be back to 6th. The loss of any real significance is Missouri State's. WSU has been spiraling downward for about 6 weeks now, and aren't even an NIT team at this point.

Thank you Aces for bringing a tiny bit of respectability back to the league ...

You are right B Brave. A Saluki, Bradley, and Panther win would bail THE VALLEY out!
However, a Panther win would be a REALLY BIG upset!

Well, 3 weeks ago I didn't think Mo St, Wichita St and Indy St would lose those games.

                            MVC is stinking it up.

I think it is time to pull out of the BracketBuster.

The MVC would have been better off with 10 home games against NonDI teams.

Looks like SIU will give us a big win, if BU and or Northern Iowa can pull off an upset plus a must win by Creighton I think the MVC will save face.
