havent been keeping up wih butler much this ear.... do they have anyone that can match up with Falkner?? if not then I definately think SIU wins this one.....
if not i still think SIU will win a close one but I could see SIU winning big if butler doesnt have anyone to match up with him... butler hasnt been playing the best of late
personally i think siu is way overrated- they're good but not #15
that could lead to some problems if siu gets a 4 or 5 seed and loses the packers nantzs and everyone will rip the valley

anyway butler by 5
I agree SIU may not be #15, but Butler is more overrated in my opinion.
This has been said many times before but if the game is tightly officiated then SIU could be in trouble as the officials are brought in from outside conferences; also Butler looked like a good basketball team when they won the pre-season NIT so trying to win on their homecourt will not be easy; I think this game can really hurt SIU as far as seeding in the NCAA tour. if they lose.
If this game was in Little Egypt , I wouldn't even give Butler a chance. I still think SIU will win, but it's probably gonna be an ugly game to watch. This would be a nice win for SIU and the Valley.
Go Salukis, err I mean Egyptian Dawgs
HEY......I look @ these games as post-season games for the Valley......so I'm pulling for every Valley team this week-end to prove how good the league really is........so GO-DOGS!
