    I beg to differ....

Daniel Ruffin appears in the Top 10 of SIX categories,
(scoring, assists, steals (#1), 3-pt FG made, Assists to Turnovers, and minutes played)
Al Stewart also appears in the top 10 of six categories (conference games only).....including offensive rebounding.....pretty incredible for a guy who's probably about 5-9.

Al Stewart and Ajay Calvin have been a couple bright spots for Drake.
You need to get a couple guys of that caliber as 4-year guys.
Those 2 year guys are ready to leave just when they get going!

Yeah, Dr Tom has mentioned on several occasions how he wishes he could have molded those guys for 4 years. I'm sure BU fans wish they had Franklin for 4 years as well!

Good luck to the Braves the rest of the way....I'll be rooting for you guys, unless you run up against the Bulldogs in St Louis.

Will Franklin was a late spring addition in 2005 when it was learned that Lance Stemler and Michael Rembert were leaving and would not be back in the fall and we suddenly had two open scholarships.
Jim Les pulled a miracle out of a hat when he found Will and offered.
Just as soon as Will made the trip to Peoria and met and played some ball with Ruff and the others, he committed right away.
The only other alternative JL might have had would have been to "bank" the scholarship and hope that one of the juco kids, a transfer, and a late blooming high schooler would blow up over the summer.

The Salukis are not even close to being "THE SALUKIS" when Falker is NOT on the floor!
